Woman In Lutra South Sulawesi Tries To Commit Suicide After Drinking Baygon After Harassing Her Boyfriend

LUWU UTARA - The woman with the initials H (20) in North Luwu, South Sulawesi (Sulsel) tried to commit suicide by drinking mosquito repellent poison. It is suspected that this incident was related to sexual harassment received by the victim.

"The victim attempted suicide by drinking the Baygon brand of liquid mosquito repellent and the victim is currently being treated at Hikma Sukamaju Hospital, North Luwu," said North Luwu Police Chief, AKBP Irwan Sanuddin, contacted by VOI, Sunday, December 6.

AKBP Irwan told of the suicide attempt that occurred after his girlfriend visited the woman's house. The perpetrator at that time they sat in the victim's living room.

"The male perpetrator and victim in the living room, after sitting with the victim, the perpetrator commits immoral acts," he said.

Not accepting the incident, victim H's family picked up the perpetrator. The family reported to the Police. The police are now handling the case of abuse that befell victim H.

Meanwhile, the Head of PPA at the North Luwu Police, Aipda Yuliana said that currently the suspect has been arrested to take responsibility for his actions.

"I haven't interrogated the victim, except for the suspect," he said.
