JAKARTA - WhatsApp is reportedly testing to present avatar stickers like on Facebook and Instagram via the latest beta version of WhatsApp on Android.
Reporting from WABetaInfo, Sunday, October 23, the beta version that presents avatar stickers has only been present in several users on a limited basis.
Users who have access to the latest sticker feature will find the "Avatar" category in the settings menu.
This way users can see and adjust the digital version of stickers that describe themselves.
Of course, the avatar sticker mechanism will be similar to in other Meta applications.
Users can create sticker packages that come in various poses and can be used to express themselves when sending messages on the WhatsApp service.
The feature first reportedly appeared about a month ago, and was finally further confirmed by its presence in the trial version before its stable version was released.
However, it is not known exactly when these avatar stickers will be present in the stable version on Android.
This is also not necessarily present in the near future for mobile phone users with the iOS operating system.
Meta popularizes the use of avatars in its services, namely Facebook from 2019.
Then in early 2022, Instagram users will finally be able to take advantage of this avatar feature through Instagram stories.
Avatar was presented in the entire application ecosystem made by Meta in the hope of becoming a bridge for users of the Meta service against the metaverse concept.
