Due To The Lumpur Flood, Depok Pesona Residents Rejected The Development Of Watertank PDAM Depok

JAKARTA - Residents of Pesona Depok II Housing, Depok City, West Java objected to the construction of the Watertank PDAM with a capacity of 10,000,000 liters belonging to PT Tirta Asasta due to threatening risks and dangers. They also never received any notification and even socialization, and even agreed. "With this incident, residents have proven the risk and danger that threatens residents over watertank development and cause fear of a greater danger when the project is operated," said Lina Novita, who received the Special Power Letter Number 249/SC&CO/IX/2022 dated 28 September 2022.Lina Novita said Depok II Pesona residents on September 12, 2022 held a meeting with the Board of Directors of PT Tirta Asasta, where during the meeting residents expressed their concern because the foundation of a retaining wall was built on mud, not solid soil and it was proven that the retaining building was not strong to withstand the swiftness of water into charm housing due to the sloping ground position declining towards the Housing of Depok II.
