After OTT 3 Officials Related To Selling Permits, PoliceRS Room At The Mataram Disdag

MATARAM - Police officers searched the Mataram City Trade Office (Disdag), West Nusa Tenggara, regarding the follow-up to the results of the arrest operation (OTT) in the alleged criminal act of extortion in the management of permits to sell at the Ampenan Market stall. Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Mataram Police, Kompol Kadek Adi Budi Astawa, said that there were two rooms at the Mataram City Disdag Office which became the location of the search. "The two rooms are in the UPTD (official technical unit) market and in the treasurer's room," said Kadek Adi in Mataram, Antara, Tuesday, October 11. During the search which began at 11.45 WITA, the Mataram Police Satreskrim Team entered the first location in the Head of UPTD Pasar. From the official room with the initials AH, the police confiscated a number of documents. Not long after, about 10 minutes from the AH room, the police continued their search to the second floor in the treasurer's room. For the second location, the police did not conduct a long search. However, there were a number of documents that were also confiscated. The team went back down to the first floor and headed for the back of the building. The search continued to the retribution reception room. During this activity, the police had a dialogue with several employees. After returning from the third room, Kadek Adi and his team rushed back to the Mataram Police Office with a number of boxes containing documents from the search. After the activity, Kadek Adi assured that his party still had to re-learn all the confiscated documents from the Mataram City Disdag Office. "We will study the documents that we have secured first, analyze them, and evaluate them to see the link between documents, events, and statements of witnesses," he said. On Friday, the Mataram Police Satreskrim Team conducted an OTT on four people suspected of being involved in the criminal act of extorting permits to sell at the Ampenan Market stall. "Of the four people we have detained, three of them are from the service, one from the market environment," he said. The four people are officials at the Mataram City Trade Office with the initials MS, Head of UPTD Pasar at the Mataram City Trade Office with the initials AH, market head, and a trader. In the process of handling, investigators have not yet revealed the role of the suspect. To the four people caught in the OTT action, the police have implemented a mandatory report. In the OTT incident which took place at the Mataram City Disdag Office, Kadek Adi confirmed that his party had confiscated evidence allegedly related to the extortion crime in the form of cash worth Rp45 million. The money belongs to traders who are given to official officials for permits to sell at Ampenan Market stalls.
