Regarding The Anies-AHY Duet In The 2024 Presidential Election, Democrats: Still Tennising The Chemistry Of Vision, Energy And Heart

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Democratic Party DPP Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) admitted that he did not want to be in a hurry to address the duet discourse with Anies Baswedan in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

The discourse on the Anies-AHY duet came after Anies visited Susilo's eldest son Bambang Yudhoyono alias SBY at the Democratic Party Headquarters in Jakarta on Friday, October 7.

According to AHY, if it is fate, it will happen without coercion. Therefore, at this time the main focus is building chemistry, including vision and mission with other candidates.

(Anies soldiers) I think we are still in the context of uniting the spirit of togetherness first. For me, the principle is that if there is a fate of togetherness, it is not allowed because of coercion. But there must be chemistry that unites. Not only vision but also energy and heart to fight together, focus on building chemistry," said AHY in the Tangerang City area, Monday, October 10.

On the same occasion, AHY warmed up the spirit of Democrat Party cadres to face the 2024 General Election. He appealed to the party cadres bearing the mercy symbol to tighten ranks by working hard to win the five-year democratic party.

"I want to convey a strong message to the cadres so that from now on prepare the party machine to ensure effective work to win the hearts and minds of the people," he said.

AHY believes that with the party's engine performance being prepared long ago, the votes of the Democratic Party will meet the target. A number of surveys, he said, show that hard work can reverse the achievements of the Democratic Party in the 2024 Pilleg and Presidential Elections unlike the previous five years.

"We have a chance, this can be read in a number of surveys if we work hard for the Democrats to strengthen their position," said AHY.

As is known, Anies Baswedan visited the DPP Office of the Democratic Party, Proclamation, Menteng, Jakarta, on Friday, October 7. His arrival was immediately welcomed by AHY and other high-ranking Democrats.

At the meeting, Anies hoped that a new flow would emerge to build Indonesia. For him, what has been started from the Nasdem Party and Democrats regarding the 2024 General Election will expand to PKS.

"Hopefully later we will build a new flow within us to build a better Indonesia. This conversation is all part of the responsibility and has the same responsibility to make Indonesia better," said Anies after meeting AHY.
