TransJakarta Party Says Construction Of HI Roundabout Bus Stop Is 95 percent, Will Be Completed In November 2022

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD), PT TransJakarta stated that the construction of the Hotel Indonesia (HI) Roundabout Bus Stop will be completed in November 2022.

Currently, the mass transportation stop has been operating with a trial status for a limited time.

"If it is calculated in progress, it is almost 95 percent and actually we can operate this bus stop even though it's not 24 hours, maybe it will be 100 percent completed in a month and a half (November) maximum," said Director of Operations PT TransJakarta M Indrayana in a statement in Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Sunday, October 9th night.

Indrayana said the structural work for the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout Stop was 100 percent completed, but was still in the finishing stage.

"What currently exists is in finishing works and equipment related to disability such as lifts and escalators, then the work of the tenants who will be located on the second floor," he said.

Although the construction has not been completed 100 percent, Indrayana said that the HI Roundabout Bus Stop has an operational trial from morning to 22.00 WIB, so that it can immediately serve the community.

"Indeed, we are trying as quickly as possible to serve TransJakarta customers again, even though the conditions are not 100 percent complete. But we guarantee that from the safety aspect there is 100 percent zero tolerance, and other facilities such as a sky deck to view the Welcome Monument on the second floor have also can be enjoyed," said Indrayana.

It is known that the HI Roundabout Stop is projected to become an iconic bus stop along with the Cikoko Integration Stop, Cawang Station, Sarinah (Thamrin) Bus Stop, Tosari Bus Stop, and Dukuh Atas 1 Bus Stop.

All of them are included in 46 TransJakarta shelters which will be revitalized in 2022. The investment value for the revitalization of 46 TransJakarta shelters reaches IDR600 billion.
