PDIP Surabaya Suggests Dismissal Of Cadre Defeated In Support Of Machfud Arifin-Mujiaman In Pilkada

SURABAYA - DPC PDI Perjuangan Kota Surabaya took firm steps against cadres who did not comply with the decision of the PDI Perjuangan DPP who carried Eri Cahyadi and Armudji in the Surabaya Pilkada.

After previously dismissing senior cadre Mat Mochtar, this time it was Anugerah Ariyadi's turn that was proposed by DPC PDI Perjuangan Surabaya to go to the DPP to be fired. Like Mat Mochtar, Anugerah Ariyadi also chose to support Eri Cahyadi-Armudji's opponent, Machfud Arifin-Mujiaman.

"Now the letter of proposal to dismiss Anugerah Ariyadi is being processed by DPC PDI Perjuangan Surabaya. We are proposing this dismissal not without strong reasons. But it has gone through various considerations," said Deputy Chairperson of the DPC PDI Perjuangan Surabaya, H Sjukur Amaludin, when confirmed, Tuesday, 1 December.

According to Sjukur, the actions carried out by Anugerah included serious violations at the PDIP. Because they did not comply with the decision of the Chairperson of the PDI-P DPP, Megawati Soekarno Putri. What's more, Anugerah has also made and distributed videos and voices whose contents prefer Machfud Arifin-Mujiaman.

Not only that, continued Sjukur, Anugerah was also actively involved in the campaign for candidate pair number 2 and invited to choose candidate pair 2.

"We also heard about Anugerah's plan to leave the PDI-P and join one of the supporting parties of Machfud Arifin. Maybe if I'm not mistaken, Anugerah joined the Democratic Party or PKS," said Sjukur.

With the many violations that have been committed by Anugerah, said Sjukur, the PDI-P DPC proposed to the PDI-P DPP that Anguerah be fired from the PDI-P cadre. "The letter is being processed and we will immediately send it to the DPP," he concluded.
