JAKARTA - The NasDem Party today officially announced the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate (candidate) from his party in the 2024 presidential election. Therefore, according to him, if parties or coalitions want to win electoral battles, then they need to release the name of the presidential reading which will be supported in the 2024 presidential election. "If you want to win an electoral battle, it is necessary to announce a presidential reading for the benefit of branding and public acceptance," said Herry in Jakarta, Monday, October 3. Herry assessed that the NasDem Party's move to announce its support for Anies Baswedan in the presidential election was a natural thing in the context of democracy and winning the 2024 General Election.
