GARUT - The Regent of Garut, West Java, Rudy Gunawan said, the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan RB) provided an allocation of 5,287 Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) for the Garut Regency Government.
"We received the Decree of the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Number 552 dated September 9, 2022 concerning the Determination of the Needs of State Civil Apparatus Employees within the Garut Regency Government for Fiscal Year 2022, in which the Menpan RB approved the submission of 5,287 formations out of 5,309," said Rudy during the Garut Regency DPRD Plenary Meeting in West Java, Antara, Friday, September 30.
He explained that his party previously proposed 5,309 quotas for a number of formations to the Kemenpan RB in accordance with the needs of the Garut Regency Government. However, the Kemenpan RB approved 5,287 formations for PPPK in the area.
The number approved is allocated for teacher formations as many as 3,326 quotas, formations for health workers as many as 1,786 quotas, and other technical personnel with 175 quotas.
"This has been socialized by the regent and regional secretary to all P1, P2, P3, and formations for health workers spread across 67 health centers and at Dr Slamet Hospital," he explained.
Based on the Decree of the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Number 552 of 2022 concerning the Determination of the Needs of State Civil Apparatus Employees within the Garut Regency Government, he said, the financing of PPPK expenditures was borne by the APBD.
The condition of the regional budget for personnel expenditures is based on the approval of the Indonesian House of Representatives to the 2023 State Budget, namely the General Allocation Fund (DAU), which was given by the central government with an increase of Rp70 billion, he said.
According to him, if it accommodates the Menpan RB's decision on PPPK, it can be ascertained that the Garut Regency Budget in 2023 will have a deficit of around Rp550 billion. However, the central government said that the DAU did not accommodate the 2023 PPPK costs.
"Based on this, we will convey that there is an additional financing for PPPK in the 2023 Fiscal Year of IDR 320 billion. Thus, the allocation for appointments with the previous year for PPPK has now reached more than IDR 421 billion," said Rudy.
