JAKARTA - The West Jakarta City Government (Jakbar City Government) has confirmed that it will process state civil servants (ASN) who were caught having an affair. "Yes, of course it is an ethical violation, as regulated in Government Regulation No. 94 of 2021 concerning civil servants regulations," said West Jakarta City Secretary Iin Mut Mainah when met in the Kebon Jeruk area, Jakarta, West Jakarta, Antara, Friday, September 30. An ASN person at the level of Head of Section in the West Jakarta Education Sub-dept. was caught alone with a woman at a hotel in the Tangerang area. The ASN person was raided by his wife and lawyer while alone at a hotel. It is suspected that the ASN person and the woman who is also his staff had an affair. Iin added, if there are ASNs who are found to have an affair, they will be called to be examined first. "There will be a summons in question, that's the case, there will be an official report later, later on the minutes it will be seen how far the level of error or violation from the person concerned is," he explained. Iin explained that the process will take place at the Provincial Personnel Agency and the DKI Jakarta Education Office. However, until now, Iin has not received a complete report regarding the presence of ASN personnel on the West Jakarta City Government who were caught cheating.
