In Bali, Puan Maharani Plants Rice Together with Farmers Until She Leaves Hatching On Pandawa Beach

BADUNG - The Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR), Puan Maharani, carried out several activities during a working visit to Bali. Puan Maharani planted rice with farmers in Abiansemal, Badung to release hatchlings on Pandawa Beach.

Puan Maharani's arrival was welcomed by residents in Medium Village. Puan Maharani participated in planting rice in the fields with the farmers, including seeing the various fruits and vegetables and handicrafts owned by the farmers.

"I came here to see the agriculture that has been carried out by the Regent (Badung) in Bali so that farmers are more prosperous than before. So indeed the supervisory function that I did to Bali today is to look closely at how tourism is in Bali with its blue economy plus how farmers carry out that work to be able to help inflation that is likely to occur in several regions in Indonesia", said Puan Maharani, Wednesday, September 28.

Earlier in the morning, Puan Maharani came to Pandawa Beach, South Kuta, Badung. Puan saw the revitalization of Pandawa Beach.

"Alhamdulillah, this morning I came to Pandawa Beach to be able to see firsthand the revitalization that will be carried out by the Regent (Badung), related to the blue economy. Blue economy, how then do we build infrastructure or then stalls around Pandawa Beach to be better, cleaner and more representative (for) tourists or the people who come there", said Puan.

At Pandawa Beach, Puan Maharani releases hatchlings/turtle chicks. It is hoped that the existence of this turtle will be maintained.
