President Jokowi Said, BLT BBM Distribution Has Reached 95.9 Percent

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo said that nationally, the Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) impact of the fuel oil (BBM) price adjustment had reached 95.9 percent.

"Regarding the BLT BBM, the realization to date has reached 19,700,000 beneficiaries. It means that it is 95.9 percent, it's almost finished", said the President on the sidelines of the handover of Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU) and BLT BBM in Baubau, Tuesday, September 27, quoted from Antara.

President Jokowi targets the distribution of BLT BBM to be completed in all regions in Indonesia by the end of this year.

"The target is to finish. By the end of the year it will be finished, God willing", said the President.

The President advised all beneficiary communities to use the aid to help fulfill their daily basic needs. Thus, the benefits of distributing social assistance can be felt directly, and the goals and objectives of this program are realized.

During his working visit to Baubau City, Southeast Sulawesi, the President was accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah, Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia, Governor of Southeast Sulawesi Ali Mazi, and Mayor of Baubau City La Ode Ahmad Monianse.

From the Post Office, Jokowi and his entourage continued their journey to Wameo Market, to visit traders and hand over assistance and funds for business capital to traders in the market.
