"Not going to school, even though the child has to go to school, it can be a crime because the child neglects him because he didn't send him to school," said Arist. As a result of not sending their children to school, the four ABHs are suspected of growing according to social norms and values. Therefore, Arist reiterated that the parents of the four children could face criminal penalties if later someone reported it related to child neglect. "It can be threatened with six months in prison, even five years can be done, if the elements are fulfilled by child neglect," said Arist. However, Arist has no intention of reporting the ABH's parents because he is still studying the alleged neglect of children, considering that the more detailed assessment process has not been completed by Komnas PA. In addition, the legal report on cases of neglect of children has not been carried out by the aggrieved party.
