JAKARTA - Members of the Intel Jatinegara Police received unpleasant treatment from a group of youths while on duty in the Cipinang Cempedak area, East Jakarta. The Head of Jatinegara Police, Kompol Entong Raharja, said that his party had investigated the alleged intimidation case.
Kompol Entong admitted that he already had the identity of the youth group that carried out the intimidation.
"We are processing the case. We are still identifying the group that did it, we haven't confirmed whether they are students or not," said Entong Raharja, quoting Antara, Friday, September 16.
Entong added that the member who was intimidated had the initials Bripka D who served in the Intel Unit.
He said that currently Bripka D had made a report to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Jatinegara Police and the case was under investigation.
"We are still investigating, we don't know what their motives were for doing it. Later, we have to clarify first, there is a process according to the applicable rules. We will report the progress later," said Entong.
