JAKARTA - The sound of the siren caught along with an announcement informing the incident occurred in the DKI Jakarta City Hall this morning. Not long after, ASN and DKI Provincial Government employees rushed and fled to the front yard of City Hall.

Suddenly, a puff of smoke came out from the 6th floor of the Blok G building of DKI Jakarta City Hall. The alarm announces the fire. The number of ASN to the gathering point is increasing.

One of the employees was seen contacting the firefighters. A short time, a number of cars and firefighters from the Fire and Rescue Service began to arrive at the location.

The inside security officers (pamdals) helped evacuate provincial government employees who had not yet gathered in the open field. Firefighters immediately issued a tube to extinguish billowing smoke.

It appears that one employee of the DKI Provincial Government is covered by officers wearing a stretcher, leaving the building. Weaked, the employee's neck was put on a plaster. He was taken into an emergency ambulance (AGD) belonging to the DKI Health Office.

After the smoke was extinguished. Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria headed to the courtyard of DKI Jakarta City Hall.

He announced that the earthquakes and fires that had just been experienced were not true. Then, the billowing smoke is fogging that was deliberately emitted. In a sense, the DKI Provincial Government is actually conducting a disaster simulation.

Riza said, shortly before the disaster simulation occurred, the DKI Provincial Government inaugurated 157 safety managers accompanied by the launch of a book containing the concept of mitigation, prevention, and potential disasters.

"Today, the simulation of the fire at City Hall is continued. In accordance with the governor's regulation, it has been carried out almost every year, a simulation of good prevention at this City Hall has been carried out," said Riza, Thursday, September 15.

Riza hopes that with this disaster management simulation, all DKI Provincial Government employees who work in the DKI Jakarta City Hall can anticipate and already understand the mitigation carried out when disasters such as earthquakes and fires actually occur.

"The disaster did not come and informed you beforehand. So, all employees and employees at the DKI Jakarta City Hall must have been caught and who is on standby in the face of a fire or earthquake," said Riza.
