At Langgur Market Maluku, Jokowi Didodong Youths Use Bolpoin To Ask For Signatures

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) accompanied by First Lady Iriana visited Langgur Market, Southeast Maluku district, Maluku Province on Thursday, September 15.

Jokowi conducted a review as well as provided social assistance to beneficiaries in the market.

Arriving at around 07.04 WIT, President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana were greeted by the Regent of Southeast Maluku Muhamad Thaher Hanubun and Mrs. Eva Elia Hanubun, Head of the Industry, Trade and Manpower Office M. Arsyad Jabkenan, and Head of PD Langgur Market Kaspres H. Narwadanubun.

It was also seen that the public were enthusiastic about welcoming President Jokowi's arrival along the road around Langgur Market, occasionally they shouted the name of President Jokowi.

"Mr. Jokowi, Mr. Jokowi," shouted the public.

Based on Antara's report, one of the teenagers seemed to come to President Jokowi to ask for a signature. The teenager was seen in tears when he handed a piece of paper and ballpoint to the President.

Also accompanying President Jokowi on a visit to the market this morning was Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto.

After visiting Langgur Market, President Jokowi's entourage then headed to Aru Islands Regency, Maluku Province via Karel Sadsuitubun Langgur Airport, Southeast Maluku Regency, using an ATR 72-600 aircraft on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at around 08.15 WIT.

Also releasing the departures of President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana were the Regent of Southeast Maluku Muhamad Thaher Hanubun and Danlanud Lt. Col. Pnb. Ruli Surya.
