BANGKA - The COVID-19 Task Force of Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province noted that the achievement of booster vaccination for vulnerable groups in the area reached 20.21 percent or 2,517 people from the target of 12,452 people.

A spokesperson for the Bangka Regency COVID-19 Task Force, Boy Yandra, said that based on data from the COVID-19 vaccine service, the results of booster vaccines for vulnerable groups were spread across eight sub-districts.

"The first dose of vaccine service for children is 95.50 percent or 31,043 children from the target of 32,506 children and the second dose for children is 79.44 percent or 25,823 children", explained Boy Yandra in Sungailiat, Antara, Sunday, September 11.

He ensured that the number of vaccination achievements continues to grow because vaccine service outlets are opened every day, including vaccine services at night and on holidays.

"I ask the public to immediately get vaccine services that have not yet received especially booster vaccines to increase their immunity so they are not easily infected with the Coronavirus", he said.
