JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria asked the residents of Petamburan, Central Jakarta and its surroundings to realize the need to trace COVID-19 cases.
This appeal responds to the lack of enthusiasts taking part in the mass rapid test held by Polda Metro Jaya in the Petamburan area since two days ago.
"For all people in Jakarta, including in Petamburan, ask for awareness, support and cooperation to be able to carry out the test," said Riza at the City Hall of DKI, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, November 24.
Riza said that people who have symptoms of a disease like COVID-19 need to immediately check their condition to prevent the spread of the corona virus from spreading.
"People who are symptomatic, sick and so on, don't wait a day or two. Immediately take concrete steps by visiting the health center in the nearest neighborhood or reporting to us, we will be happy to help," he said.
Moreover, for residents who previously participated in crowd activities. Riza asked the perpetrators of the crowd to get her checked out immediately.
"Examination can be carried out by the DKI Provincial Government through the health center or hospital," he said.
It is known that Polda Metro Jaya and Kodam Jaya held a mass rapid test around the location of the residence of FPI leader Muhammad Rizieq Shihab. This was done to track cases of COVID-19 after a crowd some time ago.
The rapid test was held for 3 days since last Sunday, November 22 at SD Negeri Petamburan 01-03 Jakarta. Thousands of rapid test kits have been prepared.
Unfortunately, many residents chose not to come to the location of the mass rapid test. During the last two days, there were only 169 residents who underwent rapid tests, namely 89 people on Sunday and 80 people on Monday.
