MAKASSAR - Spokesperson for the Governor of South Sulawesi (Sulsel) Nurdin Abdullah, Bunyamin Arsyad, responded to the report by the legal team of M Ramdhan 'Danny' Pomanto-Fatmawati Rusdi (ADAMA) to Bawaslu of Makassar City. Nurdin, who is familiarly called Prof. NA, was reportedly related to the ASN recorded voice case which led to support for certain candidate pairs in the Makassar Pilkada.

"Nothing has been received (the report) yet," said Benyamin when contacted by VOI, Monday, November 23.

He questioned the report by Danny Pomanto's legal team which was addressed to the Governor of South Sulawesi Nurdin Abdullah who is familiarly called Prof. NA and the Acting Mayor of Makassar Rudy Djamaluddin.

"What is the relation with the governor? There is no work flow with the governor, unless there is an order to the OPD or the government structure in the provincial government, if the district government is in the realm of the city, the city government, what is the evidence (involvement)," he concluded.

Makassar City Bawaslu has actually delegated cases of violations of ASN neutrality related to the Makassar Pilkada to the State Civil Apparatus Commission (KASN). The Secretary of the Head of Ujung Tanah Sub-district, Andi Syaiful, is suspected of violating neutrality because of an invitation to support certain candidates in the Makassar Pilkada. The Bawaslu said it was a personal act by an individual, and did not find a connection between the two names, namely, the Governor of South Sulawesi, Nurdin Abdullah who is familiarly called Prof. NA and Acting Mayor of Makassar Rudy Djamaluddin.

However, the ADAMA Legal Team, Akhmad Rianto, said that there was a recent development found. He explained the issue of the governor's involvement, the acting mayor of Makassar regarding the alleged violation of Article 71, paragraph 3 regarding involvement in campaigns that benefit certain candidate pairs.

"So what they are doing is related to the indirect instructions carried out by the governor in this matter and the acting mayor to order a certain number of candidate pairs, right? It's not in the field," said legal team spokesman Danny. Pomanto, Akhmad Rianto.

"But through his order, this is something that doesn't make sense if it is just an initiative of the sub-district government, what's the secretary of this sub-district? So it is impossible to do this without an order from the superiors," he continued.

Not only that, the legal team, Danny Pomanto, also reported the head of the Ujung Tanah sub-district and the Munafri Arifuddin-Abdul Rahman Bando (Appi-Rahman) candidate team who allegedly used state facilities for campaign purposes.
