In The Case Of The Murder Of Brigadier J, 83 Members Of The Police Are Suspected Of Violating Ethics

JAKARTA - The National Police's Special Inspectorate (Irsus) has apparently examined 83 personnel suspected of violating the ethics behind the case of Brigadier J's murder. This number continues to grow as the case is handled.

"We have carried out special checks on 83 of our members," said Irwasum Polri Komjen Agung Budi Maryoto to reporters, Friday, August 19.

Originally, the number of members of the Police who were specifically examined previously was around 63 people. This means that there will be an additional 20 members of the National Police.

Of the tens of people, almost half or 35 people are recommended to be placed in a special place (patsus).

In fact, from the results of a series of examinations, six of them are strongly suspected of being involved in obstruction of justice or obstructing the investigation. So, they will be prosecuted criminally.

"There are 6 people from the results of the examination who should be suspected of committing a crime, namely obstruction of justice," he said.

The six people included Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, former Head of the Propam Division, Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan, ex-Karopaminal of the National Police's Propam Division, and Kombes Agus Nurpatria as Kaden A of the National Police's Propam Division.

Then, AKBP Arif Rahman Arifin as Wakadaen B Bureaupaminal of the Police Propam Division, Kompol Baiquni Wibowo as PS Kasubbagriksa Baggatika Roabprof Polri Propam Division, and Kompol Cuk Putranto as PS Kasubbagaudit Baggaketika Roabprof Polri Propam Division.

On the other hand, so far there are 18 members of the National Police who have been placed in the Special Forces. Three of them are suspects in the murder of Brigadier J, namely, Ferdy Sambo, Bharada Richard Eliezer, and Bripka Ricky Rizal.

"Then from the personnel who have been assigned there are 15 people," said Agung.
