MPR Leader Ensures Preparedness For Tomorrow's Annual Session

JAKARTA - The MPR leadership has expressed its readiness to hold the MPR Annual Session and the DPR-DPD Joint Session, Tuesday, August 16.

Scheduled at 09.30 WIB President Joko Widodo and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin entered the Plenary Meeting room in the MPR/DPR/DPD building.

"The MPR RI is ready to hold the Annual Session and Joint Session of the MPR, DPR, and DPD tomorrow starting at 9.30 WIB. Starting with the opening, introduction to the session of the chairman of the MPR, the chairman of the DPR to listen to a speech in the context of the Indonesian Independence Day from the president," said MPR Chairman Bambang Soesatyo in press conference at the Nusantara IV building, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, August 15.

Meanwhile, President Jokowi is scheduled to deliver a speech delivering the Performance Report of State Institutions and a speech on the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia at 10.18 - 11.03 WIB.

"Then the event was closed, then at 1.30 WIB the report card was started on the financial notes read by the president," said Bamsoet.

The annual session and joint trial are scheduled to finish at 15.07 WIB.
