Reveals Allegations Of Sexual Harassment Of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's Wife, Lawyers Will Prepare Evidence

JAKARTA - Irwan Irawan as Attorney General for Inspector General Ferdy Sambo admitted that his party had prepared a number of evidences related to the alleged sexual harassment experienced by Putri Candrawati.

He added that a number of pieces of evidence would be shown by his client if he was asked to be a witness in the alleged sexual harassment case.

When asked about the evidence that was prepared, Irwan said that his party could not provide details, because it still needed to be re-coordinated.

"Later we will convey to the public what is our evidence in these incidents. I did not say that there was or did not exist, because it must be conveyed by the team later, what was prepared," explained Irwan when confirmed, Thursday, August 11th.

On that occasion, he also said that Ferdy Sambo was willing to be a witness in the investigation of the alleged sexual harassment case.

"Because the obligation of a citizen is like that, as a witness it is obligatory to provide information related to the crime that occurred," he said.

However, Irwan admitted that his party had a little problem. This happened because of the limited communication with Inspector General Ferdy Sambo who is currently at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters, Kelapa Dua, Depok, West Java.

"So far, we have coordination meetings with the existing team, because since FS was detained, it has been rather limited to meet. So with the current process, we continue to work on what is prepared, what is needed for the process," he said.

"What is certain is that related to the evidence, and so on, of course we have asked for it or not, we have to convey what we have," he added.

Previously, Arman Hanis as the attorney for Inspector General Ferdy Sambo and his wife, Putri Candrawati, believed that their client had given testimony that was not fabricated. Even his testimony has been recorded in the Minutes of Investigation (BAP).
