Alert! Motorcycle Thief Action No More Than 3 Minutes

TANGERANG - The theft of a motorcycle (curanmor) was recorded on a surveillance camera or CCTV in Gangbasa, Kunciran, Pinang, Tangerang City. The perpetrator managed to get away with the victim's motorbike in no more than three minutes.

Pinang Police Chief, First Inspector Tapril confirmed the incident. Tapril said the incident occurred on Monday, August 8, at 09.00 WIB.

The incident began when the victim with the initials S (30) parked his vehicle in front of his house with the handlebars locked. But after he left the house it was found that his motorbike had been stolen. Even though the victim had recently parked his vehicle.

"After shopping, I parked in front of the handlebar lock and after leaving because it wasn't there anymore," said Tapril when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, August 10.

"When it happened, other people didn't know. If they knew, they would have screamed the thieves," he continued.

Tapril said the victim had reported the incident to the Pinang Police. On that basis, they are currently pursuing the perpetrators.

"For CCTV instructions and the victim's witness. For the victim, we coordinate with the Resort Police and the Regional Police. So that they can reveal it together," he concluded.

To note, based on CCTV footage seen by the VOI team, there were two perpetrators. They came on motorbikes.

When he saw the victim's motorbike parked in front of his house, one of the executors took action. Less than five minutes, the motorcycle can be brought by the thieves.
