Couples In Bali Make Dozens Of Porn Videos In Telegram Groups Paying IDR 200 Thousand, Earn IDR 50 Million

DENPASAR - A married couple (couple) in Bali with the initials GG (33) and Kadek DKS (30) made dozens of pornographic videos through the Telegram group. Group members are required to pay Rp. 200,000 to enjoy pornographic video content made by this couple.

The couple was arrested by personnel from the Sub-Directorate V of Cyber Ditreskrimsus of the Bali Police who carried out cyber patrols.

"Dozens of pornographic videos were made and played by the perpetrator and his wife," said Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police Kombes Stefanus Satake Bayu Setianto, Wednesday, August 10.

During the cyber patrol, a Twitter account with tens of thousands of followers was found. This account uploads snippets of porn videos. This account directs social media users to join the Telegram group by paying IDR 200 thousand.

From the investigation, it is known that the porn video actors are a couple GG and DKS. Both were arrested in Gianyar.

"We have declared the person concerned as a suspect and has been processed by law. There is also the modus operandi of the suspect in posting pornographic videos on his Twitter account and also creating a telegram group which is a porn video sharing group," he said.

"If you want to join the group, you have to make a payment first. So, the payment is approximately Rp. 200 thousand. Until now, the suspect has three telegram groups and the profit has been around Rp. 50 million so far," continued Bayu.

During the examination, the couple admitted that they had made 20 pornographic videos since 2019. These videos went on sale in 2021.

Meanwhile, Kanit II Sub-Directorate V Cyber Ditreskrimsus Bali Police Kompol Tri Joko W said the couple admitted to having sexual fantasies by filming their intimate scenes.

"The actor is the suspect and his wife. So, the actor himself plays it, then uploads it and then the first motivation is to do fantasy to get excited," he said.

Suspect Kadek DKS was not arrested because he has a toddler who needs to be treated. In this case, cellphones, Telegram accounts and hard drives were confiscated.

The couple was charged with Article 27 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph 1 of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE).
