JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that it has summoned a member of the PPP Expert Council, Nizar Dahlan, who reported the alleged gratification against the Minister for Development Planning / Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa. This summons was made to ask for an explanation from the reporter regarding the allegations he reported some time ago.

"According to the information we received, today the public complaints directorate has scheduled the person concerned to attend to be able to explain his report," Ali told reporters through his written statement, Monday, November 16.

The KPK, he continued, was still analyzing the reports made by Nizar to Suharso in accordance with existing procedures. Ali also ensured that all incoming public reports would be followed up, but first his party would carry out verification.

"Every public report will be followed up by first verifying and analyzing the report to further investigate whether (the reporting, red) is included in the realm of corruption and becomes the authority of the KPK," he said.

It is known, information regarding this summons was conveyed directly by Nizar through his written statement. In the written statement, Nizar said that he would fulfill the KPK's summons to provide testimony as a witness to report on the alleged gratification received by the Minister for Development Planning / Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa, who is now the Acting Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) and would come back to win seats it's back.

Nizar argued that his report was an effort to fight corruption and an effort to save the PPP from the corrupt behavior of its leaders which was deemed to be able to destroy the Ka'bah party.

Previously, Suharso Monoarfa was known to have used a chartered private plane when carrying out activities in Aceh and Padang, West Sumatra in October 2020.

As a result of using this aircraft, Suharso then received the spotlight from his own cadre, namely PPP Expert Council member Nizar Dahlan. He also questioned the origin of the funds used to charter the private plane because of course the price is not cheap.

"People are screaming in poverty and hunger, Plt. Ketum is instead using a private jet for consolidation," said Nizar some time ago.

Responding to this report, PPP Secretary General Arsul Sani said what Nizar said was making it up. He even said that his party cadres did not understand what was meant by gratification as reported by him.

"The gratification report made by Nizar Dahlan was fabricated and showed that the person concerned did not understand the provisions of gratuities that should be reported to the KPK as stipulated in Article 12B of Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crime ( Tipikor), "said Arsul in a written statement to reporters.

The Deputy Chairman of the MPR RI also emphasized that the Minister for Planning and Development / Head of Bappenas did not accept gratuities. This is because the plane that Suharso and a number of party officials boarded was not in their capacity as public officials.

"The plane we rode in was in our capacity as PPP administrators. It has nothing to do with the position of minister and member of the DPR," he said.

"Second, we boarded the plane as party administrators not as state administrators. It can be seen from the activities we carried out at the destination," added Arsul.

He said Suharso and himself and a number of PPP officials in Aceh and Padang, West Sumatra, carried out socialization and explained party congress activities to be held in Makassar City. According to him, this group used the plane not for free but also paid for a number of things including paying for the purchase of aviation fuel.

"As PPP administrators, we pay the cost of using aircraft such as aviation fuel, flight crew, and others," he said.
