Police Hunt For Social Media Account Owners Like Gisel's Video Spreader

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya is hunting for owners of social media accounts that distribute immoral videos similar to artists Gisella Anastasia alias Gisel and Jessica Iskandar. This was done after the police raised the case to investigative level.

"The point is that investigators will pursue who was the first to spread it in accordance with Article 27 paragraph 1 Juncto Article 45 Law 19 of 2016 concerning ITE also in Article 8 Juncto Article 34 of Law 44 of 2008 concerning pornography," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus told reporters on Thursday, November 12.

Yusri said that the case was raised from investigation to investigation after the case title was carried out. The activity of this case title relies on evidence, statements of witnesses reporting and a number of experts.

"Yesterday afternoon we held a preliminary case for a report similar to sister G and sister JI. The result is that the investigation has moved up to the level of investigation," he said.

In the future, investigators also plan to summon two witnesses. However, the time for the examination has not yet been confirmed.

Previously, Gisel opened his voice and gave comments regarding the circulation of a video allegedly similar to him through cyberspace.

Gisel admitted that he was confused and also sad because he was again hit by the exciting video rumors that were thought to be similar to him.

"I'm confused about how to clarify the problem, because it's not the first time it hit me. So it's actually sad too. It's just okay to face it," said Gisel.

The ex-wife of actor Gading Marten was reluctant to comment further on the adult videos that took the virtual world by storm and became the talk of netizens.

Gisel only asked all parties to pray so that the issue that befell him this time could be quickly resolved. "Please pray so it can pass quickly," said Gisel.
