The First Phase Of The Joglo Elevated Rail Work Will Be Completed In Early August

SOLO - The first phase of the Joglo Solo flyover is targeted to be completed in August 2022 following the process, which has so far reached 90 percent.

Site Manager of PT WIKA-BKY KSO Dendy Purbowo as the executor of the Joglo Elevated Rail Development Project, said that currently the detour track work process or temporary diversion of the railroad crossing is almost complete.

Overall, the work in the first stage leaves some minor work.

"This first phase of work begins with work on the Solobalapan side, work on the Kadipiro side, and work on the crossing side of the Simpang Joglo train. After that, the detour track will be made. Currently, the detour track is 90 percent," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, 26 July.

Dendy said that after the construction of the temporary diversion route was completed, it could only be continued with the second phase of work.

"For the second stage of work, the construction of the bridge sub-structure is in the form of making bridge pillars. The schedule is from August 2022-February 2023. After that, it will only enter the third stage (installation of steel frames) starting from February-October 2023," he said.

Meanwhile, in the second phase of work, there are public facilities that will be affected by the development, namely the Joglo Market. Regarding this matter, his party has coordinated with the Surakarta City Government for the transfer of traders.

"We received information from the city government that this week the traders will soon move to a new location. We are indeed facilitating land clearing to make it faster," he said.
