Natuna Police Chief, AKBP Iwan Ariyandhy, through Head of Natuna Police Polairud, AKP Sandy Pratama Putra said two crew members (ABK) suffered minor burns and one crew member suffered severe burns.

"There were three victims and they were immediately evacuated using the KM Hasil ship to Faslabuh Selat Lampa, currently all of them are being treated at the Natuna Hospital", said Sandy in Natuna, Antara, Tuesday, July 26.

He also revealed the identities of the victims, namely, Jefriadi (30) and Riki (17) who suffered minor burns. Meanwhile, Budi (42) suffered severe burns.

"At the time of the incident, the ship was immediately assisted by another fishing vessel nearby, but to ensure this, we are still asking for information from witnesses regarding this incident", he said.

The crew survived and the burning ship was pulled by another ship and taken to its home area.
