Kompolnas Says That Brigadier J's Family Report Does Not Discuss The Autopsy

JAKARTA - The National Police Commission (Kompolnas) said that in a case carried out by the Directorate of General Crimes (Dittipidum) of the National Police Criminal Investigation Department together with lawyer Brigadier J, they did not discuss the results of the autopsy. The reason is waiting for the re-autopsy process to be carried out.

"It was not conveyed earlier, because later we will wait for the autopsy to be carried out," said Head of the National Police Commissioner Benny Mamoto to reporters, Wednesday, July 20.

According to him, the court case only discussed the initial stages of the report on the alleged premeditated murder by the family of Brigadier J.

So far, the outcome of the case has ruled for an exhumation and a re-autopsy.

"Because the lawyers asked for an exhumation (or, red) digging the grave and a re-autopsy, it will be scheduled that the exhumation will be carried out soon," said Benny.

The autopsy process will involve an independent forensic team. So, not only the Police are involved but there are also private parties or others.

With this agreement, said Benny, the Police have reflected an attitude of transparency in efforts to resolve this case.

"So later the team will involve independent forensics, not only from the National Police Health Center but also from the independent. This is a form of transparency that is being carried out," said Benny.

Agreed on Brigadier J .'s re-autopsy

As previously reported, the Daily Chief of the National Police Commission (Kompolnas) Benny Mamoto said that the process of investigating the alleged premeditated murder case reported by the family of Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J had been completed. One of the results was an exhumation (grave digging) and a re-autopsy.

Kompolnas is the party involved in holding the case together with family lawyer Brigadier J and a team from the Directorate of General Crimes of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.
