Covered In Blood, Man Admits Online Taxi Driver Was Beaten By Duren Sawit Residents After Being Shouted At By A Thief By A Motorbike Rider

JAKARTA - A car driver was shouted at by a thief by a motorbike driver in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta, early Thursday, July 14. Due to panic, the driver of the car eventually hit a number of vehicles and pedestrians.

The driver of the car with the initials H was finally arrested and beaten by residents until he was battered. It is not yet known whether H is a thief or not. However, based on his confession, this man claimed to be an online taxi driver.

"Alamak, I am an application driver (online taxi), how can I be a thief?" said H, Thursday, July 14.

Victim H admitted that he was actually overtaken by the motorbike that the two teenagers were driving. He also said that he was beaten with an iron by the two perpetrators.

"Honestly, I was overtaken by him, I said don't crash, I'm old. He didn't accept it, when I went into a corner, I was overtaken. I was hit by him with an iron. I got in the car to go to the police station and hit a motorbike. and pedestrians). explained H.

H admitted that he accidentally hit the driver and pedestrian.

"I didn't crash on purpose. I was beaten with an iron. I got into the car to go to the police station, where I was shouted at by a thief," he said.

Syamsudin, one of the witnesses, said that his car was damaged by being hit by H.

"Suddenly my car which was on the side of the road was hit by him. He was shocked, he took a right and hit another person. Then he ran away, after I chased it, it turned out that people had already been arrested in the Pondok Kelapa TPU area," admitted Syamsudin.

Until now, Thursday, July 14, H is still being held at the Duren Sawit Police Station for questioning.
