Climbing Rail Guardrail, 59-Year-Old Man In Cawang, East Jakarta, Hit By Train

JAKARTA - A man with the initials R (59) is still undergoing treatment at the Budhi Asih Hospital, Cawang, East Jakarta.

He was being treated after being hit by a train while crossing under the Jatinegara flyover, East Pisangan Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta, Wednesday, July 13, yesterday.

As a result of the incident, the victim suffered injuries to his head, hands, and back.

"The victim suffered injuries to the right temple of the head, wounds to the left hand and back," said Pulogadung Police Precinct Officer, Inspector Baridi confirmed by reporters, Thursday, July 14.

The victim is still in the hospital for medical treatment. Baridi said, before the accident occurred, local residents had shouted at the victim not to cross anywhere. But the victim did not pay attention to this.

It is known, it turns out that the victim often crosses in a location that is not in the right place.

"Based on the information received, this person always crosses through the fence. Before the accident, many residents shouted, but maybe he didn't hear it," he said.
