Investigate Police Shooting Police Case, Propam Kadiv Driver And Assistant Examined

JAKARTA - The police stated that two additional witnesses were asked for information regarding the death of Brigadier J or Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat due to a shootout with Bharada E. Both were drivers and assistants who worked at the shelter for the Head of the Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

"There is witness R and witness K. If R is the driver, mother, if K is a helper, yes," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto to reporters at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Tuesday, July 12.

Both of them became witnesses because they were at the shelter when the shootout between Brigadier J and Bharada RE occurred.

With the addition of the two people, continued Budhi, there are currently six witnesses in this case. In fact, it is possible that the number will continue to grow.

"Yes, if it is completed (inspection, red) it will be six," he said.

Previously, Budhi said that there were only four witnesses who had been questioned. Meanwhile, two of them are still under investigation.

"So far there are four witnesses who have completed the BAP," said Budhi.

Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabara was shot dead by Bharada E, on Friday, July 8. The shooting was said to have taken place at the shelter for the Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, in the Duren Tiga area, South Jakarta.

The results of the investigation while shooting each other began with the screams of the wife of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. Because Brigadier J tried to harass him and put a gun to his head.

The shout was heard by Bharada RE. Thus, he approached the source of the sound and saw Brigadier J.

However, when questioned about what happened, Brigadier J shot him. Thus, a shootout occurred and Brigadier J died.
