Covid-19 Reactive Wife, Depressed Husband Then Suicide

CIBINONG - Cibinong Police, Bogor, West Java, revealed the case of her husband committed suicide at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) Housing, Cibinong. This man is suspected of committing suicide because his wife was reactive to the COVID-19 corona virus.

"The info is because his wife's depression is reactive to COVID-19. We cannot confirm yet because it is still under investigation, but on Thursday (5/11) the mother will have a repeat swab test schedule," said Kapolsek Cibinong AKP I Kadek Vemil, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, 4 November.

From the information received from the family on Wednesday morning at around 04.30 WIB, the victim with the name MS (58) woke up and gave his wife permission to go to the toilet.

"Seeing the condition of the kitchen lights going out, the wife came over and unexpectedly saw the shadow of the head hanging on the kitchen pole," said Kadek.

He said that at that time MS's wife immediately called her two children, B (20) and A (18) to examine the black shadow. Then the two children confirmed that the hanging body was his father.

Kadek said the victim's body was immediately taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, Jakarta, for autopsy purposes at the request of the family.

"From family information it is known that the MS victim has a history of bleeding in the intestines," he explained.
