Police Investigate Murder And Robbery Cases In The Bintang Mountains Of Papua, Victims Of Stab Wounds All Over The Body

JAYAPURA - The Bintang Mountains Police, Papua, are investigating the robbery and murder case of Suriady (45) in Kawe Village.

"Yes, it is true, we received a report that there was a case of robbery and murder of a resident in Kawe Village, Awimbon District, Bintang Mountains Regency," said Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Ahmad Musthofa Kamal in a written statement, Tuesday, July 5.

The police are still investigating the perpetrators of the murder and robbery. Meanwhile, the bodies of the victims are planned to be flown to Jayapura, Wednesday, July 6.

According to residents, the victim was found dead at the victim's food stall.

"The victim was found dead with stab wounds to several parts of the body from the face, hands, legs and waist," said Kamal.
