JAKARTA - The charity Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) was apparently involved in a legal case. Ibnu Khajar, the president of the institution and Ahyudin as a former high-ranking officer of ACT were reported to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police in 2021.

Both reports are related to the alleged false information in the authentic deed. Report registered with number LP/B/0373/VI/2021/Bareskrim, dated June 16, 2021.

"Allegations of fraud or false information in an authentic deed or in Article 378 or 266 of the Criminal Code," said Andi Rian.

In the process of handling, this case is still under investigation. The team is still looking for any criminal violations behind the report.

According to him, in the process of handling it, the two reporting parties or Ibn Khajar and Ahyudin have already taken their statements. They were clarified on the report made by PT Hydro.

"The clarification has been made (Ibnu Khajar and Ahyudin, ed)," said Andi Rian.

For information, ACT is a humanitarian organization that collects donations to help others who are affected by disasters or calamities.
