JAYAPURA - The Commander of the Cenderawasih Military Command (Pangdam) XVII Major General Teguh Muji Angkasa admitted that two of his soldiers were involved in selling ammunition.
"Both of them have been detained and the investigation continues", said TNI Major General Teguh Muji Angkasa in Jayapura, Tuesday, July 5.
Based on the reports received, he said, the houses of the two soldiers serving in the Debriefing Detachment of the XVIII Cenderawasih Military Command were found when they were searched.
He admitted that he could not confirm how much ammunition the two members sold because the case was still being investigated.
"The case has been reported to the TNI Commander and will be processed according to applicable law", he said, quoted by Antara.
