Kiosk Owner In Bintang Mountains Mining Area Persecuted By An Unknown Person

JAYAPURA - S (45), the owner of a kiosk in the Kawe mining area, Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua, was killed by an unknown person (OTK).

S was found dead by his employees who came to the location. This information was confirmed by the Director of Criminal Investigation at the Papua Police, Commissioner Faizal Rahmadani. The bodies of the victims will be evacuated to Tanah Merah.

"Communication to the mining area is difficult, so we are still waiting for reports from members in the field", said Faizal, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, July 5.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bintang Mountains Police, AKBP Cahyo Sukarnito, also confirmed this incident.

"This location is indeed a community mining area which is far and difficult to reach from Pegubin", said AKBP Cahyo.
