CIREBON - PDI-P (PDIP) chairman Puan Maharani ignites the spirit of cadres during party consolidation in Cirebon, West Java, Monday, July 4. Puan said, West Java must return to red.

"We have reddened West Java, and later as long as we are solid, solid, and solid, then we can definitely redden West Java," said Puan when giving a speech quoted by Antara, Monday night.

Puan said that solidity among all party cadres will determine the fate of PDIP in the future, especially in the West Java region because at this time this area has not been fully redeployed.

However, Puan believes that when everything is solid, West Java, which is the most populous province, can be controlled by PDIP again. For this reason, all regions, especially those that are still gray, continue to be red, and those that are already red in the 2024 General Election will at least remain red.

"We have to redden the gray area, don't let the gray color not be reddened," he said.

Puan added that the PDIP DPP has mapped out which areas are already red and which are still gray so that party consolidation needs to be done.

"If we can now map it to red here, red there, the red area in 2024 must at least remain red," he said.

He added that in the 2024 election, PDIP is ready to cooperate with other parties as long as it is in line with one mission, especially carrying out Bung Karno's ideals.

"PDI-P is ready to cooperate with anyone from the national level down. As long as the cooperation is in line with the aspirations of Bung Karno and Pancasila," he said.
