COVID-19 Update As Of 3 July: 1.614 New Cases, 1.606 People Cured

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today.

The total cumulative cases are 6.093.917 people since the first case was announced in March 2020. Meanwhile, new cases per day have reached 1.614 people.

Meanwhile, the number of recovered cases today increased by 1.614 people, bringing the total to 5.920.249 recovered people. Meanwhile, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 4 people and totaled 156.749 people.

Meanwhile, the province with the most new cases was DKI Jakarta with 931 new cases and a total of 1.272.759 cases.

Consists of 901 local transmissions and 30 foreign travelers (PPLN).

Followed by West Java with 284 new cases and a total of 1.113.248 cases. It consists of 283 local transmissions and 1 PPLN.

Then, Banten with 185 new cases and a total of 297,756 cases. Consists of 184 local transmissions and 1 PPLN.

Next is East Java with 97 new cases and a total of 578.395 cases. Consists of local transmission 97 and 0 PPLN.

Then, Bali with 40 new cases and a total of 158.874 cases were recorded. Consists of 37 local transmissions and 3 PPLN.

Then, Central Java with 32 new cases and a total of 628.308 cases. Consists of local transmissions 32 and 3 PPLN.

The province with the most recovered cases today is DKI Jakarta with an increase of 1078 cases. Then, followed by West Java with 267 cases recovered.

Meanwhile, East Java with an additional 86 cases, and Banten with 83 cases recovered.

"The highest death cases are in DKI Jakarta, 3 people and 1 person in Banten," according to data from the Ministry of Health, Sunday, July 3.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined per day is 46.713. Meanwhile, cumulatively it reached 66.711.973. As for the details, 24.191.908 were examined by RT-PCR, 261.252 by the TMC method and 42,258,813 people were tested for antigen.

"For the number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases, it was recorded at 2.486 people," he said.

The weekly positivity rate for people from May 19 to June 25 2022 is 3.35 percent. While the daily positivity rate is 5.14 percent.

Currently, the number of people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination has increased by 7.905 and the total has reached 201.565.306, and the second dose of vaccination has increased by 5,803, the cumulative total has reached 169.117.557.

The achievement of the third dose of vaccination (booster) increased by 18.291. The total reached 50.916.428. Meanwhile, the vaccination target reached 208.265.720 people.
