Deputy Chairperson Of Banggar Muhidin Collapses At The Plenary Podium Of The DPR, Called To Have A History Of Hypertension

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Budget Agency (Banggar) Muhidin Mohamad Said suddenly fell in front of DPR Speaker Puan Maharani after submitting the DPR Banggar report related to the RAPBN for the 2023 fiscal year.

Secretary General of the DPR Indra Iskandar revealed that the cause of Muhidin's collapse at the plenary session was suspected to be hypertension. However, he said, Muhidin's condition has now improved.

"Mr. Muhidin was blackout for a while and fell but was able to stand up again. Information from the doctor in the medical service department he had hypertension," said Indra to reporters, Thursday, June 30.

Even so, Indra was able to confirm the current conditions regarding Muhidin's health. He said that the member of Commission V of the DPR needs to do further health checks to find out Muhidin's illness.

"Currently, our clinic has observed further and to make sure, of course we have to go to the MCU (medical check-up)," said Indra.
