JAYAPURA - General Chairperson of the Indonesian Red Cross (PB PMI) HM Jusuf Kalla inaugurated the honorary board and management of PMI Papua Province for the 2022-2027 term at the State Building, Jayapura, Wednesday, June 29, 2022.

In his remarks, Jusuf Kalla thanked the Papuan Provincial Government for assisting PMI's work.
"We hope that the new management will improve services to the community," he said as quoted by Antara.
He explained that PMI's work must provide good service, as well as cooperate with the government to support humanitarian work in Papua.
"Essentially PMI must work according to 7 main principles, namely humanity, togetherness, neutrality, independence, volunteerism, unity, and universality," said the vice president for the two terms.
