Message From DPR Members To Parents: Love Your Children, Pay Attention So You Don't Get Caught In Drugs

JAKARTA - Member of Commission III of the House of Representatives Andi Rio Idris Padjalangi assessed that the commemoration of International Anti-Narcotics Day (HANI) 2022 should be a momentum for all parties to fight narcotics trafficking in Indonesia more seriously.

"Drug abuse has touched various circles. Of course it must be a serious concern from the government, law enforcement officers and all elements of society in saving the nation's generation," said Andi Rio in his statement in Jakarta, Tuesday, June 28.

The commemoration of HANI is a momentum for the entire world community to be able to jointly have a determination to eradicate narcotics.

Therefore, all parties must agree that narcotics is a real threat to the world that can damage the nation's young generation in every country.

"Drugs are our common enemy, the impact is very dangerous. Drugs are a threat and can damage the nation and state," he said quoted from Antara.

Andi Rio hopes that all parents will pay attention to their children's interactions in education, friendship, and residence.

According to him, do not let children do not get serious attention from parents and eventually fall into the circle of narcotics.

"Love our baby and always give serious attention, provide education about the dangers and effects of drugs from an early age. Give free time every day for children to discuss and hear their complaints, prevention is better than cure," he said.

He invited all elements of society to remind each other for the common good and the fate of the nation's future generations.
