Bamus Betawi Appreciates Anies Firmly Revocation Of Business License Holywings: Hope It Cools The Hot Situation

JAKARTA - The Betawi Deliberative Body (Bamus) appreciates the closure of 12 Holywings outlets throughout DKI Jakarta by DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and his staff for the sake of creating a cool atmosphere in the capital city.

"Yes, I express my appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Anies for his special attention and efforts that were quite hard and fast for the revocation of the Holywings permit. Hopefully this can cool the hot situation that is developing in the community," said Bamus Betawi Chairman Riano P Ahmad in his statement. BETWEEN, Monday, June 27.

According to Riano, this shows that Anies, as the number one person in the capital, has heard of the people's concerns and the widespread public criticism in the last few days.

Riano appealed to all business and entertainment actors in Jakarta not to play around with religious issues, which are very sensitive.

Riano also said that with the revocation of this permit, it is hoped that the community will remain calm so that other problems do not arise, although the legal process and the motive for promoting the forbidden drink specifically for the name 'Muhammad and Maria' must also continue.

"Yesterday's blasphemy promo case has finally opened the veil about other violations that have been carried out by Holywings management. Let's leave this case to the authorities," said Riano.

Previously, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan issued a decision to revoke the permits for all Holywings outlets in Jakarta.

The revocation of the permit by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Investment and One Stop Service (DPMPTSP) was based on recommendations and findings of violations from two Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), namely the Holywings Group, which apparently violated several provisions of the DKI Jakarta Provincial DPPKUKM, related to the sale of alcoholic beverages in 12 cities. According to the Head of the DKI Jakarta One Stop Service and Investment Service, Benny Agus Chandra, the revocation of the permits for the 12 outlets is in accordance with the provisions and serves as a deterrent to any violations.

"According to the governor's directive to act decisively, in accordance with the provisions and deterrence, and based on the recommendations and findings of two DKI Jakarta Provincial Government OPDs, we as the PMPTSP Service revoked the permits for 12 Holywings outlets in Jakarta," said Benny.

The recommendations from the two OPDs became the basis for the Investment and One Stop Service Office to be submitted to the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).

Thus, all the business licenses of the 12 outlets of the Holywings Group can be revoked immediately.

The 12 Holywings outlets in Jakarta whose operating licenses were revoked:

1. Holywings which is located in North Tanjung Duren Village;

2. Holywings Kalideres;

3. Holywings in Kelapa Gading Barat;

4. Tigers;

5. Dragons;

6. Holywings PIK;

7. Holywings Reserve Senayan;

8. Holywings Epicentrum;

9. Holywings Mega Brass;

10. Garrison;

11. Holywings Gunawarman; and

12. Vandetta Gatsu.
