Not Yet Giving A Signal To Go Back In The West Java Pilkada 2024, Deddy Mizwar Instead Encourages The Young Generation To Compete

BANDUNG - Former West Java Deputy Governor Deddy Mizwar stated that he had not thought about competing again in the 2024 West Java Governor and Deputy Governor Election.

"From a survey, it's reasonable if there is value, right (included in candidates for West Java Governor from a number of survey institutions). Because I was a West Java Deputy Governor, there must be value. But we don't necessarily have to go forward again, right," said Deddy Mizwar after attending the 'Naga Naga Naga' Movie Watch event at one of the cinemas in Bandung, Antara, Wednesday, June 22.

One of the founders of the People's Wave Party (Gelora) Indonesia has even encouraged the younger generation or other figures to compete in the 2024 West Java gubernatorial election.

"Yes, it's the others, we've had enough to take care of this. It's young people who want to advance in politics or provide opportunities for others, perhaps there are many figures in Tanah Parahyangan who want to advance," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the readiness of the 2024 Legislative Election, Deddy Mizwar said he was ready to go down the mountain to help the party's campaign in the upcoming Pilleg.

"Currently, it has begun to touch the existing networks in West Java, there are from the film community, the environment and other arts communities," said Dedi Mizwar.

Deddy Mizwar, who also serves as Chair of the Cultural Arts Division of the Gelora Party DPN, said that the party has a fairly large target in the 2024 election, so focus and hard work are needed.

"And indeed our target is to become the winning party, at least the top three at the national level," he said.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the West Java Gelora DPW Haris Yuliana added that his party was increasingly optimistic that there would be support from a West Java figure in the implementation of the Pilleg campaign later.

According to Haris, until now the name Deddy Mizwar is still very much considered in the political world.
