JAKARTA - The Cengkareng Police have successfully arrested two members of a community organization (ormas) who carried out an act of extorting internet provider workers in the Cengkareng area, West Jakarta, Wednesday, June 22.

Cengkareng Police Chief Kompol Ardhie Demastyo said his party had arrested two people suspected of being members of the mass organization. The two perpetrators had the initials E alias Erik and N alias Nikmad.

"We have arrested two suspected extortionists in the Rawa Buaya area," said Commissioner Ardhie when confirmed, Wednesday, June 22.

Although two suspects have been arrested, Ardhie has not explained in detail the incident of the burglary.

Currently, the two perpetrators are still undergoing examination at the Cengkareng Police.

"We are currently still conducting an investigation. Later on the development, we will inform you," he said.

Previously, it was reported that an act of burglary allegedly carried out by members of a community organization (ormas) against telecommunications workers occurred again in the Cengkareng area, West Jakarta, Tuesday, June 21.

According to the information compiled, it was reported that there was a blasphemy against a telecommunication network installation contractor who was carrying out work in the Cengkareng area, West Jakarta.

The mass organization person who wore the hat attribute, allegedly belonged to one of the mass organizations, asking for money worth Rp. 1.5 million from the workers who installed the telecommunications network.

The perpetrator had also threatened that if his request was not fulfilled, he would confiscate the work equipment belonging to the telecommunications service worker.
