JAKARTA - The Riau Islands Regional Police confirmed that the investigators of corruption crimes (Tipikor) from the Ditreskrimsus had finished examining the former Governor of the Riau Islands, Isdianto regarding the corruption case.

"Yes, that's right, the investigation was carried out a few days ago," said Head of Public Relations of the Riau Islands Police, Kombes Harry Goldenhardt when confirmed in Batam, Riau Islands, Monday, June 20.

Harry explained that the former Governor of Riau Islands 2020-2021 was summoned to complete additional information on the completeness of the corruption case file for grant funds from the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) of the Riau Islands Youth and Sports Office (Dispora).

"His status is only as a witness," said Harry quoted from Antara.

Isdianto was summoned by investigators from the Ditreskrimsus Polda Kepri because of instructions from the prosecutor's office to complete the file or P19 in the case of corruption in the Dispora Kepri grant which had identified six suspects.
