It Used To Go Viral For Sending Letters To Ganjar, Now Fajar Can Work In The Biggest Mining Company

JAKARTA - Fajar Jaka Surya once went viral after sending a letter to the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo. Now, the student from Pemalang Regency has completed his education at the Central Java State Vocational School, Semarang campus.

However, Fajar did not appear among the hundreds of his colleagues who took part in the graduation and graduation activities on the campus of his school, Thursday, June 16 yesterday. Fajar is only represented by his mother, Darini.

Investigate, it turns out that Fajar has been accepted to work at PT Buma, Kalimantan. PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama, or as it is often referred to as Buma, was founded in 1998, and is currently the second largest coal mining contractor in Indonesia, operating independently.

“Alhamdulillah, I have been accepted to work at PT Buma, East Kalimantan. I thank the Governor of Ganjar and the provincial government, who have provided educational facilities for me," said Fajar, quoted from the official website of the Central Java Provincial Government, Friday, June 17.

According to him, SMKN Central Java is a way for disadvantaged children to still get educational opportunities.

"Thank you also because I went to school without a penny, aka free," he explained.

It was revealed that during his time as a student at SMKN Central Java, Fajar received a lot of character education. It really helped him in dealing with the world of work.

“Important for me is the very strong character education at SMKN Central Java. So that I am ready to face the world of work,” he added.

Meanwhile, Darini admitted that she was touched and happy, that her third child had completed her education at the vocational secondary level. In fact, currently he has been accepted to work in the company.

"Yes, happy, the child has graduated. Now he is working in Kalimantan," he said.

SMKN Central Java, for her, was able to realize her hopes as a mother. Because, all this time she has been supporting the family herself, after her husband died when Fajar was still in elementary school.

"It's free here, if it's not free, I might not be able to (school). Her husband has died since Fajar was still in elementary school,” he said. According to him, since attending SMKN Central Java, Fajar experienced a good change in behavior. Such as discipline, diligent worship, and polite.

"That's better. The prayers are diligent and polite," he explained.

Darini also conveyed that Fajar's joy and gratitude for being able to study was conveyed when he first entered school. Namely by sending a handwritten letter to the Governor of Central Java.

"Yes, first sent a letter to the Governor. The contents are thank you for opening a free school,” he said.

SMKN Central Java inaugurated as many as 263 students who have passed. About 80 percent have been absorbed into the workforce in companies, and others continue their studies at universities. The class VI graduation was held in each school. Namely 119 students at SMKN Central Java, Semarang Campus, 48 students at SMKN Central Java, Pati Campus, and 96 students at SMKN Central Java, Purbalingga Campus.
