DKI BPBD: Fish Market Floodgate Status Alert 1

JAKARTA - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of DKI Jakarta Province has informed the condition of the Fish Market Gate, North Jakarta, with Alert 1 (danger) status since 21.00 WIB, Wednesday night with a water level (TMA) reaching 255 cm.

Based on information monitored through the Twitter account @BPBDJakarta, the chronology of the increase in the TMA at the Fish Market Water Gate started at 15.00 WIB, at which time the floodgate status was still on Alert 3 (alert) with a TMA of 200 cm.

Then at 16.00 WIB, it was drizzling at the location, and since then the TMA at the Fish Market Watergate has continued to increase until tonight.

Reported by Antara, Wednesday, June 15, the DKI Jakarta BPBD conveyed that several areas around the Fish Market Water Gate should be wary of flooding, namely Kamal Muara, Kapuk Muara, Penjaringan, Pluit, Ancol, Kamal, Marunda, Cilincing and Kalibaru.

BPBD DKI Jakarta has conveyed this information to sub-districts and village heads in areas potentially affected by flooding, as well as disseminated information through social media and short message service SMS Blast.
