JAKARTA - Head of the Bogor Regency PUPR Service, Subiantoro, covered his face with a blue folder after being examined as a witness to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators. He did this because he was reluctant to talk about his examination.

Subiantoro was questioned by investigators regarding the alleged bribery in the management of financial reports that ensnared the inactive Bogor Regent Ade Yasin.

"Just asking for information. Ask the investigators. I'm afraid I'll answer wrongly," said Subiantoro as he left the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, June 14.

There was no further explanation regarding the examination. Subiantoro chose to take a thousand steps.

"Afraid to answer wrongly. I don't know, ask the investigator," he said.

In investigating the alleged bribery committed by Ade Yasin to the West Java Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) team, the KPK also summoned other witnesses.

They are the Deputy Regent of Bogor who is now the Acting Regent of Bogor Iwan Setiawan; an aide to the Regent of Bogor Regency, Anisa Rizky Septiani; Staff at the Bogor Regency Regional Secretariat, Kiki Rizki Faizi; and BPK RI Intermediary Examiner Dessy Amalia.

Previously reported, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) determined Ade Yasin and seven other people in the alleged bribery case related to the management of the Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab) financial reports, West Java for the 2021 fiscal year.

As donors, namely the Bogor Regent for the 2018-2023 period Ade Yasin (AY), Secretary of the Bogor Regency Office Maulana Adam (MA), Head of the Regional Treasury for the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) Bogor Regency Ihsan Ayatullah (IA), and officials who made commitments. (PPK) at the Bogor Regency PUPR Office, Rizki Taufik (RT).

While the four suspects who received bribes, namely employees of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Representative of West Java/Head of Sub Auditorat Jabar III/technical controller Anthon Merdiansyah (ATM), employees of BPK Representative of West Java/Chairman of the Interim Audit Team of Bogor Regency Arko Mulawan (AM), employee West Java Representative BPK/investigator Hendra Nur Rahmatullah Karwita (HNRK), and West Java Representative BPK/investigator Gerri Ginajar Trie Rahmatullah (GGTR).

The determination of Ade and seven other people as suspects began with the Hand Catch Operation (OTT). The evidence confiscated by the KPK was in the form of money with a value of Rp. 1.024 billion.

In this case, Ade wants Bogor Regency to achieve the Unqualified Predicate (WTP) for the 2021 fiscal year. However, in the audit process, Ade gave money up to Rp. 1.9 billion to the auditor team in February to April.
