JAKARTA - The Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit managed to apprehend two robbers with sharp weapons who were desperate to slash the back of the head of the victim, Satomi Oki, 34, a Japanese citizen.

The two perpetrators with the initials NA alias Tole (22) and MFR (20) were arrested at the KAI parking lot, Kemukus Street, RT 04/06, Pinangsia Village, Tamansari District, West Jakarta on June 13 at around 19.00 WIB.

West Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Commissioner Pasma Royce, said the arrest began with the suspect NA alias Tole storing evidence of the crime of an iPhone 12 cell phone unit.

The perpetrator kept the cellphone in a cart on Kemukus Street, Tamansari. Then the police did a tracking through the cellphone signal.

As a result, NA alias Tole (22) and MFR (20) were arrested in a parking lot.

"NA alias Tole, one of the perpetrators is known to work as a parking attendant in the Kali Besar Street area, Tambora, West Jakarta," he said.

As a result of their actions, the two perpetrators were charged with Article 365 of the Criminal Code regarding theft with violence.

Previously, it was reported that Satomi Oki (34) a Japanese citizen was the victim of a robbery by two street bandits on Roa Malaka Street, Tambora, West Jakarta, Monday, June 13, yesterday.

The perpetrators pointed at the victim using a sharp weapon, a sickle type when she was returning home from work as an MRT employee.
